I have been a freelance writer, editor and communications consultant for 20 years and recently completed my MFA in nonfiction writing at Eastern Washington University. I grew up in Seattle, WA, married and moved to Bozeman, MT in 2003, and settled in Spokane, WA in 2010. I like to drag my husband and two rapidly growing children on canoe trips and harebrained adventures, including a long drive to western Kansas to see the world's largest hairball (found in a cow stomach of all places). My dog eats small rodents and birds that he finds in the fields near my house and my cat has a barfing problem. Otherwise, we enjoy our animals.
