After 20 years working as a freelance communications consultant in the field of global health, I switched gears to complete my MFA in nonfiction writing at Eastern Washington University in 2020. My work has been published in several literary journals, local weeklies, and anthologies. When not at my computer, I am an avid river rafter and canoe paddler, mountain biker, hiker, skier, and swimmer.
